Hey Kate fans! "Days of our Lives" has a new head writer, Hogan Sheffer!! This is the time to be writing in to the show in support of Lauren and Kate! Let Mr. Sheffer know what you think by writing to him.

I encourage you to write into the show, its writers and producers, as well as the Soap Opera press and voice your opinion about what direction you would like to see Kate go in! You can find all the necessary addresses on the Contact Page.

"Days of our Lives" is currently celebrating it's 40th Anniversary! 2006 marks Lauren's 10th consecutive year as Kate Roberts!! When asked what memory of her time on "Days" sticks with her the most, she had this to say:

    "As Kate, it would have to be when she made the spur of the moment decision to cover up Franco's murder. It was at that moment I truly realized what Kate was capable of and what a challenge it would be to play her."

"Days" officially celebrates its 40th anniversary on November 8th.

It has been one crazy year for Kate on "Days"! Not only is she involved in one of the shows most talked about "quad-angles" of the year (John/Marlena/Kate/John), but she continues her vendetta against Sami! It seemed for a while that she was fighting a losing battle, especially when her scheme to break up Sami and Lucas was revealed. Now it looks like she might have the goods on Sami and her time as "Stan". Will she do Sami in once and for all, or will Sami prevail once again? All this, and her never ending quest to push Billie into a relationship with her "true love" Bo Brady-dispite the fact he's happily married.. And Kate and Victor seem to be getting along better than ever.. Is a reunion in store? And who knows what she'll plan for her newly found grand-daughter Georgia (known to everyone as Chelsea till recently) and her returning son Austin! With Kate, just about anything is possible!

Also, 2006 will be Lauren's 10th year playing Kate Roberts... 10 Years!!! Lauren is quite possibly one of Days' best recasts ever! It seems like only yesterday Kate was gutting fish on a boat and escaping with the help of a very handsome first-mate! Time flies!

With all that's going on with Kate, and her stories on Days, I encourage you to write into the show, its writers and producers, as well as the Soap Opera press and voice your opinion about what direction you would like to see Kate go in! As far as site updates go, I am going to do my best to update it soon. Im in the process of trying to get some newer recent photos of Lauren. Im also looking to update the video section of the site.
